The studio has three special Effects Stages: The Virtual Studio, The Creature Factory, and the sound Lab. These all are interactive and the guests are able to create their own special effects with the help of the staff at the studio.

The secrets of many of the movies like The Mummy Returns, The Hulk and Jurassic Park to name a few are out and you can watch it how it was all done.

The special effects stages are not for the weak hearted and the people with any medical conditions concerning heart or hearing need to be cautious. The people with the ear problem should avoid this attraction or make use of ear plugs to avoid unnecessary strain to the ears. These stages are located on the lower lot at the Universal Studios.
